Marine Fever is a fictional project about a sailor who spent his life at sea since childhood. A severe eye disease has left him unable to drift across the ocean any longer. Alone at home, he suffers from what could be called sailor's fever. Unable to see with his eyes, he still sees ships without them, endlessly building them out of scraps of newspaper. It's a sad story, but one that speaks to love and the will to live even through serious illness, where the smallest acts, or a single passion, can offer comfort and the strength to endure.
